TEHRAN: Iran has rejected the peace proposal put forward by the United States. The country also warned that it would respond to any new military action carried out by the US and would not allow foreign warships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.

'We will never bow down to the enemy, and if there is talk of dialogue or negotiation, it does not mean surrender or retreat,' Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian wrote on X.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump had rejected a peace agreement put forward by Iran through Pakistan, stating that it was unacceptable. Iran informed the US and Israel that it would not step back from its nuclear program and that discussions could focus on Iran’s regional security and movements through the Strait of Hormuz. Both countries rejected the proposal.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that the war against Iran is not over. He also called for an end to the 3.8 billion dollars in military aid that the US provides to Israel, saying the two countries should continue only with cooperation rather than financial assistance. With tensions continuing to rise and no signs of compromise, concerns remain that the crisis will continue to affect countries around the world.
