Television personalities Jeeva Joseph and Aparna Thomas have confirmed that they are going their separate ways after 11 years of marriage. Jeeva shared the news through an Instagram post on their wedding anniversary on August 24, putting an end to the speculation surrounding their relationship in recent days.

In his post, Jeeva said the decision was not easy to share, particularly because many people had followed their journey through his career and personal life. He also acknowledged that many had liked them as a couple, but said that they would now be “just Jeeva and Aparna”.

“After 11 years of marriage, we're going our separate ways,” Jeeva wrote, adding that something had gone wrong somewhere and that they had accepted that their relationship would not work out.

He said the decision to part ways was mutual and that the reason was “strictly personal”. Jeeva also requested privacy and understanding as they navigate the separation.

The announcement came on their wedding anniversary, with Jeeva sharing the dates “24-08-2015 — 24-08-2026” along with a note thanking everyone for the beautiful memories.

Aparna had also shared a post on Instagram the previous day. In the caption accompanying a photograph, she marked her birthday as “Hello 32” and wrote about a year of lessons, growth and strength.

“I’ve learned to trust myself, protect my energy and keep moving forward. Onwards and upwards, all on my own,” she wrote.

A comment on Aparna’s post asked, “Isn’t your wedding anniversary tomorrow?” To this, Aparna replied, “That was all in the past.”

Jeeva and Aparna have been popular among Malayalam television audiences, with their humour, witty exchanges and engaging on-screen presence contributing to their popularity as a couple.

Following Jeeva’s announcement, several fans have expressed sadness and disappointment over their separation. Many have also been seeking confirmation from Aparna in the comments section of her social media posts, finding it difficult to believe that the couple have decided to part ways.
