Mohanlal gets emotional after 'Drishyam 3' screening; video goes viral

The much-awaited Mohanlal film Drishyam 3 was released in theatres yesterday, much to the excitement of fans. The film's release on the actor’s 66th birthday made the occasion even more special for his admirers. As the film continues to receive an excellent response from audiences, videos of Mohanlal getting emotional after witnessing the crowd reaction have now gone viral on social media.

The actor watched the first-day first show of the film along with fans and the movie’s crew members at Kavitha theatre in Ernakulam. Viral videos show Mohanlal wiping away tears of joy after hearing the loud applause and cheers from the audience once the film ended. He was also seen thanking fans who congratulated him after the screening.

Mohanlal arrived at Kavitha Theatre at 8 am yesterday along with producer Antony Perumbavoor. Actors Meena, Esther Anil, and Murali Gopy, who are part of the film, were also present.

Sharing his happiness on social media, Mohanlal thanked fans for the warm reception he received on both his birthday and the release day of Drishyam 3.

'Waking up to an ocean of love today has left me deeply moved. Every wish, every prayer, and every heartfelt message has filled my heart with immense gratitude. It is moments like these that remind me how blessed I am to have such warmth and kindness around me. Thank you for being such a beautiful part of my journey and for making today so special. Grateful for each and every one of you,' Mohanlal wrote.

Directed and written by Jeethu Joseph, the Drishyam series has been one of the most thrilling and successful franchises in Malayalam cinema. After the huge success of the first film, the makers released a second part, which was also widely appreciated. Drishyam 3 has been produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas. Apart from Mohanlal, the film also stars Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil, Asha Sharath, Murali Gopy, Siddique, and Irshad in important roles.
