'Intimate clip leaked online, caught security guard watching it on phone'; Bollywood actress opens up about mental stress

Radhika Apte, the actress who doesn't shy away from bold and challenging roles in Bollywood, recently opened up about why she had to remain inside her house for four days.

Apte’s intimate scenes from movies have often sparked controversy, and the actress herself revealed the mental stress she went through after she found one such leaked video being played by a security guard at her building. The actress made this revelation during an interview held as part of the promotions for Netflix's popular anthology series, 'Lust Stories 3'.

The actress was discussing the challenges faced while filming intimate scenes. Apte revealed that she could not step out of her house for four days after one of her intimate scenes went viral online. To make matters worse, one day Apte saw the watchman of her building playing the video on his phone with his eyes glued to the screen.

"I called my driver and informed him about the leaked video. I told him I would send it to him if he hadn't seen it yet. I said that he should stay with me only if he was willing to stand by me despite knowing all this; otherwise, he could simply take his salary and leave," said Radhika.

Radhika opened up about being truly frightened while living alone and seeking help from other team members due to concerns about her safety. Apte revealed that she had turned down a film she wanted to do because of this fear. The actress stated that she made that decision out of concern for her family's safety and mentioned that filmmaker Anurag Kashyap had advised her against working on that project.
