'No time for meaningful conversations'; Actress Kajal Aggarwal gives her two cents on marriage and divorce

Actress Kajal Aggarwal married her longtime boyfriend Gautam Kitchlu on October 30, 2020, in Mumbai, leaving many of her male fanbase in gloom. The couple had known each other for several years before marriage, but it was lockdown that made them realise that it was more than friendship that they shared.

While appearing on Shubhankar Mishra’s podcast, Kajal delved into topics including marriage and the surging divorces in society. She opined that social media has reimagined how society works. Kajal critiqued that even husbands and wives are addicted to phone that they often forget to invest time in each other.

In the podcast, Kajal revealed the magic rule which she practices with her partner to keep their marriage floating with all its vigour and emotional strength.

For Kajal, a stable relationship means going out for dinner once a week and engaging in meaningful talks. The actress said this routine had been pivotal in bringing quality time for her with Gautam. The couple were blessed with a son in 2022.
