'Blenders Pride, Glenfiddich, love, heartbreak and marriage'; Vijay Devarakonda's speech goes viral

South Indian superstar Vijay Deverakonda's new film 'Romanchakam ', presented by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, director of the superhit 'Arjun Reddy' is up for release. Devarakonda became an overnight sensation after the release of Arjun Reddy, and there was no looking back for him. Devarakonda, while attending the promotion event of his new movie, gave a philosophical answer to the host's question, taking tidbits from his own life. The host asked Vijay about his most exciting moment of 2026. Vijay, in a repartee, said that he was born in 1989 and that every year since then has been exciting.

“I used to drink Blenders Pride and Glenfiddich (Scotch whisky) whether I had money or not. But I gave up drinking completely. I fell in love, got heartbroken and finally got married. No matter what happened, my life was always satisfying and exciting,” Vijay explained. He did not specify the reason for giving up drinking. Vijay also spoke about the health of Rashmika Mandanna, who is currently on rest after sustaining a hip injury during the shoot. The actor added that Rashmika is doing well and is recovering from her injury.

After long years of dating, Vijay Deverakonda and actress Rashmika Mandanna got married on February 26. The wedding took place in a traditional and luxurious ceremony at a five-star resort in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
