Popular social media star Aggipetti Macha passes away

TIRUPATI: Kiran Kumar, the social media personality known by the sobriquet Aggipetti Macha, reportedly passed away on Wednesday. Kumar rose to popularity among Telugu audiences for his sudden livid outburst laced with humour. Kumar is credited with contributing much to the Telugu meme community and, in the past few years, collaborating with content creators in the business.

It is reported that Kumar was rushed to hospital by relatives after he complained of illness. He died while undergoing treatment at SVIMS Hospital in Tirupati. He was 53. The final rites were conducted at his hometown in Tirupati.

Kumar's popularity was not restricted just to the Telugu audience but extended across India. It was Kumar’s short temper and the furious antics that followed that made him popular across social media. Though done for entertainment purposes, the videos never looked staged. The Telugu meme community and social media are grieving over the loss of one of their popular stars.
