ANWAR IBRAHIM SINGING

NEW DELHI: Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has gone viral for humming “Khwab Ho Tum Ya Koi Haqeeqat”, originally sung by Kishore Kumar, during the BRICS dinner banquet. Ibrahim shared the video himself on his social media accounts.

Ibrahim’s impromptu singing drew applause from netizens. This is not the first time Anwar Ibrahim has opened up about his fondness for Hindi songs. During his visit to India in 2024, he sang the song "Dost Dost Na Raha" at the Taj Mahal Hotel in Delhi. "Khwab Ho Tum..." is a song from the 1965 film ‘Teen Deviyan’, featuring lyrics by Majrooh Sultanpuri and music composed by S.D. Burman.

Meanwhile, Anwar Ibrahim had breakfast on Sunday morning with Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha. Priyanka Gandhi, the Congress leader and MP for Wayanad, was also present. Ibrahim noted on X that Rahul is a close friend and mentioned that they discussed international and regional developments.
