Drunk woman goes on rampage in Thrissur; bites and injures woman cop

THRISSUR: A 21-year-old woman, who went on a rampage by stopping cars, under the influence of alcohol, has been arrested. She has been identified as Rahmath (21) of Chazhoor. The incident happened late last night in Thrissur city. She also attacked a woman cop who came to take her into custody.

The woman stopped vehicles, demanded money from passengers, and assaulted them. On being informed, the police reached the spot, took her into custody. She attacked the woman cop while she was being taken for a medical examination. The cop attacked is ASI Kala of the Thrissur Women’s Police Station. The woman bit the officer causing injuries. A male friend who was with Rahmath fled from the spot. Thrissur East Police have registered a case against the woman.
