Mutilated bodies in undergarments found inside sacks of biryani rice

PALAKKAD: More information have emerged in connection with the bodies of a woman and a child found in sacks along the banks of the Bhavani River in Attappady. The bodies had only undergarments. Police suspect that the decapitated bodies may have been cut using machinery. Forensic examination has indicated that the body parts may have been in the water for around five days.

The body was found placed in a sitting position, with the hands and legs folded and pushed into a sack. The body was folded at the waist, with the hands and legs brought together, wrapped in plastic and then placed inside the sack. Police suspect that this could not have been done by a single person and more are involved in the crime.

The body parts were found inside sacks of biryani rice. The police have found that the sacks are from a shop at Kottathara in Wayanad. The sacks transported goods from Coimbatore. Crucial information was obtained from the writing printed on the sacks. Police suspect that the victims are from another state. Investigators suspect that the victims may have been murdered elsewhere and that their bodies were dumped into the river. The investigation has also been extended to areas along the Tamil Nadu border.

Sacks were found at three different spots along the banks of the Bhavani River in the Cheerakkadavu area of Puthur panchayat around 3 pm on Sunday. The sacks were spotted by people who had come to the area to graze cattle. When a sack was opened after a foul smell was noticed, they realized that it contained human body parts and soon informed the Puthur police.
