
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: 36 IAS officers, including District Collectors from three districts, have been transferred and assigned additional responsibilities by the Kerala government. Collectors for Thiruvananthapuram, Wayanad, and Kasaragod districts were replaced. The reshuffle affects officials holding key positions such as directors of major departments, mission heads, and managing directors of public sector undertakings.
Additionally, the General Administration Department has issued an order upgrading the Sabarimala ADM post to the IAS cadre and creating an 'ex-cadre' position to strengthen coordination for the upcoming Mandala-Makaravilakku pilgrimage season.
Chelsasini V. has been appointed as the District Collector of Wayanad. Sreedhanya Suresh has been appointed as the District Collector of Kasaragod; she previously served as the Commissioner of Food Safety. Meanwhile, Arjun Pandian (IAS), the outgoing Kasaragod District Collector, has been appointed as the Director of the Department of Agriculture Development and Farmers' Welfare and as the Registrar of Cooperative Societies.
Dilip K. Kainikkara has been appointed as the Sabarimala ADM (with the rank of Deputy Secretary). He will coordinate the activities of all government departments and security agencies across Sabarimala, Pamba, and Nilakkal. Agriculture Director Sriram Venkitaraman has been appointed as Joint Secretary and Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Forest and Wildlife Department. He will also continue to hold the positions of Joint Secretary of the Skill and Cashew Development Department and Managing Director of the Kerala Academy for Skill Excellence.
Dr Renuraj IAS has been assigned the roles of State Mission Director of the National Health Mission, Project Director of e-Health, and Managing Director of the State Health Agency, in addition to her position as Additional Secretary of the Health and Family Welfare Department; she has been relieved of her duties at KMSCL and KHRWS. Arun K. Vijayan has been appointed as the Director of General Education and CEO of the Education Rejuvenation Mission. Snehil Kumar Singh, the former Director of General Education, has been appointed as the Director of the Industries Department and the Director of Industries and Commerce; he has also been posted as the Managing Director of KIIDC and KSITIL.
Sachin Kumar Dev has been appointed as the Director of the IT Mission, Managing Director of K-FON, and CEO of Technopark. Sandeep Kumar (IAS) has been transferred to the Finance Department. Land Board Secretary Sabin Sameed has become the Director of the Public Relations Department (PRD) and Managing Director of the OBC Board. Inba Sekhar (IAS) has been appointed as the Director of the Lottery Department.
Anju K S IAS, Director, State Lotteries, was transferred and posted as District Collector, Thiruvananthapuram. The officer will hold the full additional charge of Chairperson, Monitoring Committee constituted for resolving rehabilitation issues in connection with Vizhinjam Port Project, in addition to her existing additional charge. Meanwhile, incumbent Thiruvananthapuram Collector Anu Kumari IAS was transferred and posted as Special Commissioner, GST.
