BJP youth leader and NDA candidate from Kundara, Dr Robin Radhakrishnan, is facing allegations of financial fraud worth lakhs. Meanwhile, his wife Arathi Podi made it clear through her Instagram story that she or her brand should not be dragged into the issue.
Content creator Vedalakshmi and friend and fashion designer Abil Dev have filed a complaint against Robin with the Perumbavoor police. The complaint states that Robin owes Vedalakshmi Rs 8 lakh and Abil Dev Rs 40 lakh. When they asked for the money back, it is alleged that Robin pointed out his BJP connections and threatened to honey-trap them.
“There are a lot of allegations and discussions going on social media right now. Let me make one thing clear. This is a matter between Abil and Robin. Whatever issues they have, they should sort them out themselves. Don't drag me, my name or my brand into it.
Lakshmi has deliberately used my videos and content and dragged me into this. I have nothing to do with these allegations. I will not remain silent when my name and brand are being used to create a false narrative. Legal action, including defamation, will be taken against those responsible.
My brand is not something I built overnight. It is the result of years of hard work, sacrifice, dedication, and everything I have put into building my own identity. No one has the right to ruin my reputation or my business by spreading accusations and dragging my name into things that don't concern me.
Please don't mistake my silence for weakness. I know the effort I put in to build everything I have today. I will protect my name and brand through proper legal means. Keep me and my brand out of this.”
