Baby dies after choking on breast milk; mom says was malnourished 

PALAKKAD: A four-month-old baby girl died after choking on breast milk. The dead is daughter of Parthipan and Sangeetha, a couple living in Meenakshipuram Government Adivasi Unnathi. The baby was taken to the hospital after finding her motionless at the time of breastfeeding her. She was declared dead on reaching the hospital.

Sangeetha said the baby was malnourished. The couple also alleged that they did not receive the monthly assistance of Rs 2,000 given to pregnant women. The couple's first child had also died in the same way.
