KOCHI: Nuha Sajeev, mother of Suhail Sajeev, the prime accused in the Mini Cooper accident case, appeared on social media yesterday, emotionally describing the ordeal she has been going through lately. Nuha also assured all possible support for the kin of the victims despite acknowledging the fact that nothing in the world could compensate for the three lives lost.

Nuha is also the owner of 'Iha Designs,' a prominent clothing retail establishment with outlets in Alappuzha and Kochi.

Now, Hindu Aikya Vedi leader Sasikala came forward with criticism against Nuha, expressing her views via a Facebook post.

Excerpts from the Facebook post:

“Gulped down five times the permitted amount of alcohol and cruised the car at five times the permitted speed, shattering three valuable lives. These tears hold no significance.

How can a woman claim the title of mother if she has not even attempted to steer their child back to the right path by giving him love?

This woman belongs to that group of failed mothers who consider good parenting to be meeting every demand put forward by their children. Sometimes, parents may find it completely impossible to manage children who exhibit certain specific behavioural traits. However, the responsibility remains with parents to treat their child and ensure he/she returns to normalcy.

In the hurry shown in uploading videos on social media, these lots have forgotten the real essence of family and core values of life.”
