Class 10 student goes missing after leaving home for tuition; CCTV shows him at railway station

KANNUR: A 15-year-old Class 10 student has been reported missing in Koothuparamba, Kannur. The missing student has been identified as Adwaith, a student of Rajiv Gandhi Memorial School. His family said he left home in the morning, saying he was going to a tuition class. Police have obtained CCTV footage showing Adwaith at Thalassery railway station.

Adwaith left his home in Para, Koothuparamba, around 6.30 am on Monday, telling his family that he was going to a tuition centre in the area. He usually goes to school directly after his tuition class. However, teachers contacted his parents after he failed to turn up for the tuition class. The family then informed the police.

Adwaith was wearing his school uniform when he left home. However, CCTV footage from the railway station shows him wearing casual clothes. Police have intensified the search to trace the missing student.
