MBBS student found dead inside car in Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A MBBS student was found dead inside a car. The dead has been identified as Ashiq (23), a final year student of Alappuzha Medical College and a native of Thattathumala in Kilimanoor. Ashiq left home in his car at around 4 pm Tuesday evening. However, he did not return home even by night.

His family then filed a complaint with the police. Following a search conducted, his car was found on an inner road near the national highway in Kallambalam. Ashiq was found unconscious inside the car and was rushed to the hospital, but his life could not be saved.

It was also found that he had burned charcoal inside the car and inhaled the toxic fumes. The preliminary conclusion is that it was a suicide. The body has been shifted to the mortuary of Parippally Medical College. The Kallambalam police have launched an investigation into the incident.
