MDMA case accused was VD Satheesan’s social media coordinator; photos, videos surface

KASARAGOD: Photos and videos of Opposition Leader V D Satheesan with K H Mohammed Hussain, an accused in the Kasaragod MDMA case, have surfaced. Hussain, a native of Perumbavoor, had reportedly served as Satheesan’s social media coordinator when the latter was the Leader of the Opposition. Several photographs and videos showing the two together are available on Hussain’s social media accounts. Satheesan had also attended Hussain’s housewarming ceremony, according to reports.

Hussain was also among the organisers of an event held in Perumbavoor in connection with Operation Toofan, which was attended by Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala. A Facebook post in which Hussain expressed support for Operation Toofan is also available on his account.

Hussain was arrested by police in the drug case on Sunday. He was among three Perumbavoor natives arrested with 139.29 grams of MDMA at Kalikkadavu. The other two were P A Abdul Salam (27) and P A Abbas (50). Hussain is 28. According to information, the three are links in a network involved in transporting MDMA from Bengaluru to Ernakulam.
