Four districts on high alert for four days of heavy rainfall

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: There is a possibility of widespread rain in the northern districts of Kerala today and tomorrow. Yellow alert has been issued in four districts today. Yellow alert has been issued in Kasaragod, Kannur, Kozhikode and Malappuram. There is a possibility of rain with thundershowers at isolated places. Five districts are on yellow alert tomorrow.

The low-pressure area extending from the southwest part of the Bay of Bengal to the north Lakshadweep region, through north Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka and north Kerala, at an altitude of 7.6 km above mean sea level, is located.
