VADAKARA: A major accident was narrowly avoided after a tipper lorry overturned onto the railway track at Mukkali station between Vadakara and Mahe on Friday morning. No train was passing through the area at the time of the incident, preventing a major accident. The incident occurred around 7.30 am.
