
KOCHI: In the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) Pharmacy category, Vinayak Narayan, a native of Potta, Thrissur, secured the first rank. Jesse Jestin, a native of Ollur, Thrissur, secured the second rank and Diya Fathima, a native of Kavannoor, Malappuram, secured the third rank.
Vinayak Narayanan secured the first rank in the B.Pharm examination after struggling with severe life crises and financial obligations. After the unexpected demise of his father, Sajeev Kumar, his mother, Indukala, and Vinayak were in distress. Later, the school where Vinayak studied (CCKM School) helped him in his higher studies. Vinayak, who passed with excellent marks in 10th and 12th, joined the B.Pharm at the Brilliant Study Centre in Pala with a scholarship. Vinayak says that the great encouragement and support from his teachers and locals gave him the strength to focus more on his studies. After the B.Pharm rank, this ‘brilliant’ student is waiting for the NEET exam results for medical admission.
In the SC category, Mithra Gopalakrishnan of Udayamperoor, Ernakulam, and Shreya Vijayan of Thrikkaipetta, Wayanad, secured the first rank in the ST category. In engineering, Dhyan Thej Manappatti, a native of Cheruvanchery, Kannur, secured the second rank and Vismaya.KR, a native of Thrissur, secured the third rank.
96,747 candidates appeared for the engineering examination. 65,438 candidates, including 33,405 girls and 32,033 boys, made it to the rank list. Out of the top 100 rankers, 48 candidates had appeared for the Plus Two Kerala Board examination. 31,141 candidates appeared for the Pharmacy examination. Of these, 26,944 people made it to the rank list. The engineering rank list was prepared according to the normalisation formula approved by the government in 2026.
