V D Satheesan will lead Kerala, now it is time for revival, says Sadiq Ali Shihab Thangal

MALAPPURAM: Muslim League state president Sadiq Ali Shihab Thangal reacted to the announcement of V D Satheesan as the chief minister. In a Facebook post, he said the time for the revival of Kerala is coming. 'This is a return to lost glory. The leadership has announced the person the people wanted to lead the government. V D Satheesan will lead Kerala to a better tomorrow,' he said.

We should make 'Number One Kerala', which has been a mere slogan for the last ten years, possible for us. United functioning will make us stronger. Good governance is coming to regain the first place lost in development indices and to close the gaps created by misrule. I hope that the new chief minister will be able to join the people's movement and make Kerala's revival possible, he added.
