Why Ramki and actress Nirosha didn't like each other?

Nirosha is the heroine who entered the acting field with the Malayalam film Oru Muthassi Katha, directed by Priyadarshan in 1988. Ashraf shared an incident that happened to the actress afterwards in her life, when she became famous in the Tamil film industry. Nirosha is the younger sister of famous actress Radhika Sarathkumar.

'Lissy, who was slated to be the heroine of Mani Ratnam's Agni Natchathiram, withdrew. Lissy said that she could not act in a bikini for a song in the film. Priyadarshan told Mani Ratnam about Nirosha, the heroine of Muthassi Katha, as a replacement for Lissy.

The Tamil audience took Nirosha, who acted in a bikini in the song Oru Poonkavanam, to their hearts. Amitabh Bachchan has said that he used to watch that song frequently. The producer of Nirosha's film took crores. With that, Nirosha became famous in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.

She then acted as the heroine in the Tamil film Senthoora Poove opposite the hero Ramki. During that meantime, the two had a fight over many issues. Nirosha quarrelled with him for touching her body without permission. Nirosha reminded him that even Kamal Haasan used to take permission before he touched women. They used to show their mutual dislike whenever they saw each other.

During a shoot, Ramki was standing at the door of a train that was moving slowly. Nirosha was in the scene. Nirosha had to run along the moving train on the platform. While shooting this scene, Nirosha accidentally slipped and risked falling under the train. However, Ramki, sitting on the steps, held the actress and pulled her into the train. By then, the actress was unconscious. Afterwards, it was Ramki who took care of Nirosha. Their love blossomed from that incident, which culminated in their marriage despite the opposition of their families. The two have been married for 29 years. They lead happy lives. However, they have a sadness that they do not have children,' he said.
