‘Dhruva Natchathiram’, the film completed almost a decade back but never saw the light of day, is back again in the news. Director Gautham Vasudev Menon recently announced that almost all issues related to the release of the film have been solved. As per the latest reports, the film will finally get a release date soon, and the makers expect to bring their work to theatres by next month. The film was slated for release in 2016.

Despite the long delay and ambiguity surrounding its release, the fans of Vikram and moviegoers have not yet forgotten the title. The hype got two-fold after the release of the trailer, which eerily resembled a Hollywood thriller. Despite the much-anticipated trailer, the film never made it to the screens.

Gautham Menon's spiritual thriller ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ was put on hold since 2018 due to financial problems and was later resumed. Vikram plays the role of secret agent John in the film. The film also stars Aishwarya Rajesh, Ritu Varma, Simran, Parthiban, Vinayak, Radhika Sarath Kumar, Divyadarshini, Munna, and Sathish Krishnan.

Menon, last year, had vowed not to act in any movie or direct any film until ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ hit the screens. However, the famed director could not keep his promise and was seen working in movies, even in Mollywood.
