'Nobody can separate me from Jishin'; Actress Ameya Nair responds to online criticism

Serial actors Jishin Mohan and Varada’s marriage and the eventual separation were all hot topics for the news. Jishin, a contestant of Bigg Boss Season 7, is now dating serial actress Ameya Nair. Meanwhile, Ameya came forward to respond to the criticism levelled against her. In an interview given to a YouTube channel, the actress opened up about the challenges and taunts she faced.

“I fell in love with Jishin out of sympathy. There were many things we couldn't adjust to each other. Everyone has problems, right? In one serial, my character falls in love with a married man and later takes him away from his wife. I now receive many taunts on social media saying that I made the reel character real.

Jishin and his former wife are celebrities. It is for the same reason that they kept their separation a secret. I met Jishin three years after he separated. Not many people know about this. We acted together in a serial. That's how we became friends. After six months of meeting Jishin, we became close friends and something developed within us.

Jishin and I will live together till the end of our lives. Many spurted nonsense on social media that I would not allow Jishin to meet his son again. I have two children, and I often visit them. There is no need for me to stop Jishin from meeting his son.

I got divorced at the age of 24. For my family, the separation was a stupid decision that came from my arrogance, as many believed that I should have endured and struggled to somehow continue with the marriage. My father and mother were helpless. My first husband was 12 years older than I was. After the divorce, I had no idea what to do next."
