Poonam later clarified that it was an event for cancer awareness. Now, the model came with another surprise for her followers.

Poonam recently announced that she was pregnant and even uploaded photos of her baby bump on social media. The veracity of the news was in question since one can't simply take into belief whatever news spread by a person who faked her death. On expected lines, Poonam clarified that she shared the picture as an April Fool's Day joke. She said that the baby bump is fake and was meant to make fun of her followers.

Poonam explained that her only intention is to entertain people during stressful times. Referring to the ongoing wars and global conflicts, she further explained, "After all, I am Poonam Pandey; my job is to shock you," she said, and explained to her followers to be cool and stop taking everything seriously.
