Prithviraj has reportedly ‘pulled out’ of Santosh Trophy, written and directed by Vazha fame Vipin Das. Content creator turned actor Joemon Jyothir is tipped to play the lead instead. Prithviraj is said to have pulled out due to a date clash as the shooting of Khalifa, directed by Vysakh, was getting long. It is also being heard that Prithviraj Productions decided not to finance the movie as it gives prominence to youngsters and not the lead.

It is being reported that Listin Stephen's Magic Frames and Vipin Das will jointly produce the movie. Prithviraj, who will be acting in Khalifa, directed by Vysakh, will then act in a film directed by Rahul Sadasivan. The film, which has Prithviraj and Manju Warrier playing the lead roles, is in the horror genre.

Meanwhile, 60 new faces are joining the 'Santosh Trophy'. The next schedule of the movie will start in June with Thiruvalla and Vaikom. Prithviraj was expected to join this schedule. Cinematography by Aravind Puthussery. Editing by John Kutty, Music by Ankit Menon. Executive Producers Santhosh Krishnan, Naveen P Thomas. Line Producer Akhil Yashodharan. Production Designer Sunil Kumaran. Costume Aswathy Jayakumar. Chief Associate Director Rejivan Abdul Basheer. Sound Mixing by MR Rajakrishnan.
