'Toxic' teaser controversy; Actress deletes her Instagram account

The teaser of superstar Yash’s upcoming film 'Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups' was released recently. The teaser of the film, directed by Geetu Mohandas, was released to mark Yash’s birthday. It introduces the character Raya, played by Yash. The teaser features intimate scenes and action sequences, and its release has led to strong criticism against director Geetu Mohandas.

Meanwhile, reports have emerged that actress Beatriz Taufenbach, who appeared in the intimate scene in the teaser, has deleted her Instagram account following the controversy. Her move comes after protests and criticism on social media over the scene shown in the teaser. Beatriz, who acted alongside Yash in the teaser, is a Brazilian actress and model. She began her modelling career in 2014 and is also a singer. Geetu Mohandas had earlier introduced Beatriz on social media, describing her as “Cemetery Girl."

Toxic stars Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth and Tara Sutaria as the female leads. Shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, the film will be released on March 19 in multiple languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. The film has cinematography by Rajeev Ravi, music by Ravi Basrur, editing by Ujwal Kulkarni, and production design by T P Abid.
