THRISSUR: A loyalist of film actors has been arrested in an investment fraud case. The arrested is Swathi Rahim, a native of Thrissur and owner of Save Box, India’s first bidding app. The complaint against him is that he cheated many after accepting deposits promising to give them the franchise of Save Box.

He made investors believe that they would get a huge amount every month. Many complaints have been filed against him in the last three years. He tried to settle many through compromises. Three cases have been registered in Thrissur East station alone. Swathi made connections with actors after mentioning the name of Save Box. Save Box was launched in Thrissur as a grand function attended by many film stars. The actors who attended the function were given an iPhone as a gift. It was later found to be a fraud. Film stars were given old iPhones in new covers.
