AC explodes during maintenance work in sports council headquarters, two sustain injuries

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An AC exploded at the Sports Council's headquarters in Thiruvananthapuram. The AC exploded during maintenance work. Those injured in the accident have been admitted at the medical college hospital. Technicians had arrived to fill gas in the AC and it exploded at that time.

It is reported that the technician who was holding the gas cylinder has been seriously injured. The windows of a car parked outside the office were also smashed in the explosion. The office also suffered serious damages. A major tragedy was averted as many employees were not in the office at that time.
