THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar said that the recently concluded assembly election would be the last one in Kerala where three fronts compete. He claimed that Kerala will soon have only two political alliances. According to him, Kerala politics will shift to a bipolar system. On one side, there will be a CPM-Congress alliance, and on the other side, the NDA led by the BJP. He expressed confidence that one of the main poles in this system will be the BJP-led NDA.
"The Congress-CPM INDIA alliance, which is currently active in 27 states and eight Union Territories, will come to Kerala by the 2031 elections. There is no real difference between Congress and CPM in terms of politics, ideology, or track record. A major political change is coming." Rajeev Chandrasekhar said.
"People of Kerala viewed this election as important for deciding the future of ourselves and our children. That is why voter turnout increased," he said.
On whether the BJP will become the deciding force in governance, he said that it is up to the people to decide. He clarified that the party is not arrogant or claiming power outright, but he is confident that a change will happen this time.
"BJP workers worked very hard in Nemom. We sincerely presented our vision to the people. We have explained what we will do if given a chance. Now, it is up to the voters to decide. We have strong hopes," he added.
