THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: After his posters were put up on the Vande Bharat train, VK Sreekandan said he is not aware of the incident and it was done without his knowledge or consent. He added that the BJP is spreading false propaganda on social media.

Meanwhile, RPF has registered a case in the incident after the Yuva Morcha filed a complaint with Shornur RPF. A poster praising VK Sreekandan MP was pasted on the window of the Vande Bharat Express as the train arrived at the Palakkad's Shornur railway station. The railway police reached the spot immediately and removed the posters.

Vande Bharat Express initially did not have a stop at Shornur. Later, VK Sreekandan MP wrote a letter to railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw requesting this. Union Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan also met the Union Railway Minister and demanded to allow stops at Shornur and Chengannur.
