32-year-old youth of Kazhakkoottam dies in bus-car collision

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A 32-year-old youth lost his life in a collision between a KSRTC bus and a car. The accident happened on the M C Road at Kilimanoor Junction Sunday early morning at 2 am. The dead is Anoop M Nair, a resident of Kazhakkoottam. Two sustained serious injuries.


A student died in a similar accident in Kozhikode. The accident took place in Kozhikode's Modern Bazaar. Rafa Rasheed (21), daughter of Rasheed of Al Khair, died after a private bus hit her scooter on Parappuram road. The accident happened around 7:30 pm on Saturday. The accident was caused after the bus came in the wrong direction. Rafa was a B Tech student of Mukkam KMCT College.
