PAMPA: Counting of coins received from the unprecedented rush of devotees during Mandala period and Makaravilak period completed. 1220 employees spent several days counting the coins. Devotees offered coins worth ten crores. The money in the kanikka placed in various other places was also counted along with the ones in front of srikovil. The notes were pre-counted keeping in mind the possibility of spoilage. The coins were mixed with turmeric and ashes. Along with this, there were figures made of silver and gold among the coins. After separating all these, the coins were counted.
