This year's first hit film Romancham coming on OTT, release date announced

The OTT release of Malayalam's first hit of the year Romancham has been announced. The film will be released through the leading platform Disney Hotstar. The movie will start streaming on April 7

Although the release was delayed after the shooting, the audience embraced the film when it hit theaters. The film, which hit the theaters on February 3, celebrated its 50th day yesterday.

Romancham is the seventh all-time top box office hit in Malayalam. It is reported that the film has earned 41 crores from Kerala alone, 4.1 crores from other states, and 22.9 crores from foreign markets. So far the global box office collection is 68 crores.

The film belongs to the horror-comedy genre and tells the story of friends staying in Bangalore in 2007. Directed by debutant director Jeethu Madhavan, the film is produced by John Paul George and Girish Gangadharan under the banner of John Paul Productions and Guppy Cinemas. Soubin Shaheer, Arjun Ashokan, Chemban Vinod, and others played the central roles in the film.
