Four arrested in Vizhinjam attack; 15 still wanted

VIZHINJAM: Four were arrested for the murder attempt on three youngsters who came to enquire about the attack on their father. Razak, Yasar, Shajahan, and Hisan were the four arrested. They were part of a gang consisting of 19 people who attacked the teenagers.

The incident happened last 20th night. the father of one of the three attacked previously suffered abuse from this 19-member gang. The three youngsters came to confront their father's plight which triggered a fight. After the cruel attack on the three, the mob gang took the gold chains from them and went separate ways evading an arrest. They recently planned an escape to Banglore which got into the trap netted by police. According to Vizhijam police, the group is notorious for many crimes including murders. The search for the rest of the team has been made strong.
