KOCHI: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke said Narendra Modi will never become greater than Mahatma Gandhi, B R Ambedkar or Jawaharlal Nehru even if he remains in power for 120 years. He was speaking at a protest meeting organised by the CJP in Kochi under the banner 'Jantar Mantar at Kochi' against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
Dipke said the foundation of the country rests on the ideas of great leaders such as B.R. Ambedkar, Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. He described Gandhi as the soul of India, Ambedkar as its backbone and Nehru as its mind.
He also declared that he would continue travelling across the country carrying the national flag, regardless of how many times he was arrested.
Dipke alleged that the Prime Minister and the BJP were trying to impose restrictions on people's food habits, personal relationships and voting rights. He said the struggle would continue until a free and fair electoral system was established in the country. He further alleged that the SIR exercise was being used to influence election results.
