THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BEVCO assistant general manager has issued orders to all regional managers to stop accepting Rs 2000 currency denominations from customers.

After the sudden RBI decision to withdraw Rs 2000 notes, the beverage outlets in the state saw a big rush with customers mostly trading Rs 2000 notes to purchase the poison of their likes. Minding this surge in Rs 2000, BEVCO chairman Yogesh Gupta called for the decision.
