BHUBANESHWAR: 10 passengers got seriously injured as two trains collided with each other in Odisha. More than 175 people are reportedly injured in the rare case disaster that has been seldom happening since the reformation of Indian railways. The train was heading from Shalimar in Kolkata to Chennai. The passenger train collided with a goods train killing six people. The accident happened at Bahanaga railway station.
Coromandel Express was fast approaching but skittered from the track to fall into the adjacent one which caused the catastrophe. More than five bogies have turned upside down while 15 bogies got derailed. The NDRF and experts in rescue operations are rushing to the spot to help out people entrapped in the train.
