Centre approves 43 Medical PG seats in state

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Center has sanctioned 43 new medical PG seats in government medical colleges. Alappuzha - 13, Ernakulam - 15 and Kannur - 15 seats were allotted. In the last 2 years, 28 speciality seats and 9 super speciality seats have received central approval. In addition to this, 43 more seats have now been obtained.

New Seats:- Alappuzha Medical College Anesthesia 2, Community Medicine 2, Dermatology 1, Forensic Medicine 1, General Medicine 2, General Surgery 2, Pathology 1, Pharmacology 1, Transfusion Medicine 1. Ernakulam Medical College Anesthesia 2, Orthopedics 2, General Medicine 1, Radio Diagnosis 2, Gynecology 2, General Surgery 2, Community Medicine 1, Forensic Medicine 1, Respiratory Medicine 1, Ophthalmology 1 Anesthesia 1, General Medicine 1, Radio Diagnosis 2, Gynecology 1, General Surgery 1, Pediatrics at Kannur Medical College 2, Forensic Medicine 2, Respiratory Medicine 1, Emergency Medicine 2, Orthopedics 2.
