Bollywood actor Akhil Mishra, chiefly known for his librarian role in superhit ‘3 Idiots’ died on Friday after he slipped and fell down in his kitchen. He played the librarian in 3 Idiots. He was 67.
Mishra's wife-actor Suzanne Bernert was at a shooting location in Hyderabad but had to rush back following the news of the incident. It was she who posted the confirmation message on Twitter. According to reports, Akhil was working in his kitchen when he accidentally slipped and fell on the floor. He had to lie there unnoticed for a long time before help came.
He was also a famed name in television with many appearances in Bhanwar, Yum Hain Hum, Pradhanmantri, The Adventures of Hatim, Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se, Uttaran, Udaan, Mera Dil Dewaana, Pardes Mein Mila Koi Apna, Hatim, Kadam, Sea Hawks, and Shrimaan Shrimati.
