BDS student held with MDMA and hashish oil

KOLLAM: A BDS student was arrested with 72 grams of deadly drug MDMA and hashish oil costing lakhs. P P Noufal (28) of Kozhikode Panoor Kizhakoth Puthuparambil House was arrested while travelling in a bus from Bengaluru. He was a final year BDS student of a private medial college in Kollam.


Noufal supplies MDMA to students of professional colleges, small traders and drug gangs. He was arrested during an inspection of the bus from Bengaluru at Kottiyam Junction yesterday morning at 5.30. The examination was following secret information that MDMA was being smuggled in the bus. The MDMA was found inside Noufal’s underwear. On interrogation, hashish oil, ganja, drugs and a weighing machine were seized from his room in Kulappadam where he was staying.


His practice was to bring large quantities of drugs from Bangaluru and sell them among the students. Noufal, who had completed his course from the college, was staying in Kollam to appear for the supplementary examination. He was caught by a police team led by Kottiyam and Paripally SHOs and Kollam City Dansaf team.
