Court acquits father in false rape complaint case

rape

DEHRADUN: The court acquitted the father who was in jail for a year and a half in the case of molesting his minor daughter. The action was taken after the wife's complaint that her daughter was sexually assaulted was found to be false. The court pointed out that even the date of the crime was not mentioned in the FIR and the prosecution failed to prove the case.

The daughter also gave a statement corroborating the complaint of the woman. The 15-year-old told the police that her father had tortured her and threatened to kill her if she revealed the incident. The father was arrested by the police. The complaint was found to be false during the trial in court. The trial found that a property dispute between the couple led to the false molestation case. There was no evidence of sexual assault during the medical examination. The testimony given by the couple's ten-year-old daughter was also a crucial factor in the case.
