Man collapses and dies during football match

PARAVOOR: A man collapsed and died during a football match in Peruvaram. The deceased has been identified as Anas M. Patteri (45), son of Meethiyan and Beerumma, of Patteril in Kothamangalam's Thangalam. He was a cable TV operator in Kothamangalam. The incident took place yesterday at 7.30 pm in a private turf of Peruvaram. He was dead by the time he was taken to Don Bosco hospital.

Anas was part of the Kothamangalam regional team in a friendly football match organized at Paravur. The emergency happened with two minutes left in the game. Wife: Nisha, a member of the Thazhathara family in Thanthalam. Children: Ansiya and Aswad.
