Actor arrested for sexually abusing relative for 13 years on pretext of marriage

DURG: An actor was arrested on a complaint of sexually abusing his relative on the pretext of marriage. Chhattisgarh actor, director and producer Manoj Rajput is the accused. He had been sexually abusing his relative for 13 years after promising to marry her.

The 29-year-old woman in her complaint said that he has been sexually abusing her since 2011. The woman filed a complaint at the Old Bhilai railway police station on February 22. When Rajput backed out from the marriage, the woman approached the police. A case has also been filed against the actor under the POCSO Act since she ws a minor when the exploitation began. Police arrested Rajput from his own office in Durg district.

Rajput has been in jail before in connection with the land scam case. Rajput started acting in the movie 'Gaom Ke Hero Sehar Ke Zero' which was released a few days ago. Manoj Rajput is also active in the field of real estate business.
