Couple commit suicide due to financial constraints

PALLURUTHY: A couple was found to have committed suicide in Edakochi due to financial obligations. Antony (64) and his wife Salome (59) hanged themselves inside their room at Palamuttam Road in Coimbatore. Yesterday morning, those who came home called for both of them, but when they did not open the door, they informed their son Anson, who lives above their two-story house. When he opened the window, he found both of them hanged in two rooms. Anthony and Salome were in dire financial straits. Even though he has his own house, it is mortgaged in the bank. Antony married Salome after his first wife died. Salome has no children. Only the couple lived in the house. Anthony was a carpenter. Antony borrowed money from various places because he fell ill. Children: Anson and Rexon. Nieces: Cinderella and Athira.
