'Premalu' enters Rs 100 cr club in global box office

Premalu has collected Rs 100 crore globally and emerged as a surprise entrant to the elite '100 cr club'.

The film collected more than Rs 50 crore from the Kerala box office alone. Pulimurugan, Baahubali 2, Lucifer, KGF 2, 2018, Jailer, RDX and Leo have previously collected more than Rs 50 crore from Kerala alone. Directed by Girish AD, the film stars Naslen and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles.

Following the success of Premalu, Mamitha is about to make her Tamil debut through the film 'Rebel' opposite GV Prakash Kumar. 'I am Kathalan' directed by Girish AD is Naslen's upcoming movie.

The Tamil version of Premalu, which is a historic success in Malayalam and Telugu, will hit the theatres next week.
