Rajinikanth heaps praise on Kalki 2898 AD, says director Nag Ashwin has taken Indian cinema to different level

Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin, has opened to good reviews and is filling up the theatres across the globe. The movie is said to have technical quality that could rival Hollywood films and with presence of superstars like Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Sobhana, the movie is proving to be worth every penny of the moviegoer.

The movie has received praises from critics, celebrities and vast majority of audience and actor Rajinikanth is one among those who has loved the movie. The superstar has heaped praise on the movie and said it has taken Indian cinema to a different level.

Earlier, director Nag Ashwin had stated that the story of Kalki 2898 AD will begin during the events of Mahabharata. Likewise, the movie begins with the events of the Mahabharata in 3101 BC and then tells a story set in 2898 AD.
