Suchitra's father gave her one valuable advice before marrying Mohanlal 

Superstar Mohanlal said that his wife Suchitra was able to understand him very well because she came from a film family. Mohanlal revealed this in an interview with Suhasini Maniratnam. In the same interview, he also spoke about the advice Suchitra's father gave her before their marriage. Mohanlal opened up about this in an interview related to the promotion of his first directorial venture, 'Barroz'.

"Suchi's father told her, 'You are about to marry a person from the film industry. You should treat Lal the way your mother treated me.' Suchi is very much like her mother," Mohanlal said.

Mohanlal married Suchitra, the daughter of actor and Tamil producer K Balaji, in 1988. Although it wasn’t entirely a love marriage, Suchitra’s affection for Mohanlal was the reason for their marriage. Producer PV Gangadharan played a key role in facilitating their wedding.

Meanwhile, 'Barroz' is set to release tomorrow. A preview of the film took place in Chennai yesterday. Several celebrities and other prominent personalities attended the preview. 'Barroz' is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas. The film is based on the story by Jijo, who previously directed 'My Dear Kuttichathan', India's first 3D film. The music for the film is composed by Lydian Nadhaswaram, a young musical prodigy.
