Beard is gone; 'Hridayapoorvam' to start rolling soon

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has been seen sporting a beard for a few years, both in reel and real life. After the 2019 super hit film ‘Lucifer’ directed by Prithviraj, the superstar actor from Mollywood never felt the need to manoeuvre an appearance change. In the next five years from ‘Lucifer’, Mohanlal continued to grace screens with his beard look, which sometimes ignited doubts and debate among fans.

Mohanlal was seen sporting a beard in his latest film ‘Barroz’ and will continue the same look in his upcoming movie ‘Empuraan’. Once when replying about his beard, Mohanlal said he was maintaining it for his role in ‘Empuraan’.

And now, much to the surprise of many in the cine world, Mohanlal was spotted at a function felicitating business magnate B. Ravi Pillai. What caught the camera's attention was Mohanlal’s surprising new look. For the first time in five years, the complete actor has trimmed his beard and was looking dashing.

It is reported that Mohanlal will be sporting this vogue look in Sathyan Anthikad’s new movie ‘Hridayapoorvam’. Aishwarya Lakshmi, Sangeeta, Sangeet Pratap and Basil Joseph will also be part of this movie. Meanwhile, the second part of 'Lucifer' will be released on March 27. The teaser of the film received a great reception among fans.
