'Powerful and pivotal role' ; Zayed Masood's mother in 'Empuraan'

Undoubtedly, ‘Empuraan’ is the most awaited film in Malayalam by a mile. The film, which will hit the theatres on March 27, is expected to rewrite the hitherto made records in the Mollywood box office. The film is purportedly made at a budget of Rs 140 crores.

As part of promotion works, the ‘Empuraan’ crew is releasing names of actors playing prominent roles in the movie every day. It also comes with a testimony from the respective actors, who talk about their role in the film. Prithviraj is playing the man Friday role of Mohanlal’s character in the movie. Prithvi will be playing the power-packed character of Zayed Masood, described in the film as the head of Asia's most dangerous hit group.

Indications are that Zayed, the valiant commander of Khureshi Ab'raam, is of great importance in 'Empuraan'. Confirming the matter once again, the character video of Zayed Masood's mother has been released. Hindi actress Nayan Bhatt is playing the role of Suraiya Bibi, Zayed's mother. In her video testimony, Nayan gave a vague outline of her character but asserted that the role is pivotal in the movie.

The actress spent three hours every time on make-up to perfect the character. She says working with Prithviraj was a special experience.
